Article 1 - Definitions

These general conditions of sale (GCS) relate to orders placed by the Client via the blinklinebooks.com site and accepted by the seller (hereinafter BB). The Client declares to have read these GCS before confirming his order and to have kept a dated copy. The present GCS are modifiable at any time, according to the legislative evolution.

 

Article 2 – Orders and invoice

Orders can be placed by clicking on the site on the desired item and following the automatic instructions or by e-mail at blinklinebooks@gmail.com with the following elements: entity that purchases; name and surname of the person in charge, full address, means of payment and complete references of the selected items. No incomplete order will be accepted. Orders will be invoiced and payable in Euros only by following the automatic instructions from the payment terminals. The price includes a participation to delivery costs (cf. article 6) specified on the acceptance of the order. The client, when placing an order, undertakes to pay and recognizes by this act that he is acting as a responsible person and that he has read the GTCs offered in free access on the site on the dedicated page.

 

Article 3 - Availability

The articles are offered on the site within the limits of available stocks. In the event of unavailability, BB will notify the client by email and the given time of delivery will be subject to the receipt of the order placed by BB to its own suppliers.

 

Article 4 - Prices

Prices are indicated in Euros EXCLUDING shipping costs and subject to change without notice. Items are invoiced on the basis of the rate in effect when the order is placed. Discounts to booksellers may not exceed 5% of the price (Lang Law No. 81-766 of August 10, 1981).

 

Article 5 - Payment

The articles remain the property of BB until full payment of the price, regardless of the delivery date. No banking data will be transferred to BB during the online payment procedure, via the bank's secure site.

Instructions: the client must indicate the number of his bank card, as well as its validity date and the three digits of the cryptogram appearing on the back of this one, directly in the zone provided for this purpose (entry secured by SSL encryption). The payments are received with immediate effect.  

 

Orders sent by post: as timeline is extremely extended, we do not recommend it.

Orders paid by check: will be cashed upon receipt. No delivery can be made before collection, we do not recommend it. 

​For professionals: the payment delay is 30 days from the invoice date. Failing this, and after an amicable reminder by email, late payment penalties will be invoiced according to the legal rate for the current semester and, as the case may be, the following ones, until the payment of the entire debt. Failing this, the debt will be recovered with the intervention of a collection company.

 

Article 6 - Deliveries

Articles will be sent to the address specified when ordering via the French postal services, which Blinkline has no control upon.

Outside France: any customs fees or local taxes are sole responsibility of the client.

 

Article 7 - Procedures for exercising the right of withdrawal

Given the nature of our activity and the fact that we make every effort to ship the items as soon as possible, the right of withdrawal is not possible after payment of the order. Therefore, no standard withdrawal form can be offered. In the event of an order error, the client has a withdrawal period of 7 (seven) days from receipt to return, at his exclusive expense, in the original packaging. The items must be in perfect condition and accompanied by the corresponding invoice. The return address will be indicated on a case-by-case basis, depending on the object and the sender (that of the head office or warehouse). The items damaged or soiled by the client are not accepted. They will not be returned or reimbursed.

 

Article 8 - Personal data

BB will never share your details. When ordering, only requested the necessary information (name, address, email) for his treatment. The data are kept for the duration of the commercial relationship. Our clients have a right of access, opposition and rectification of their personal data. If needed, send an email to blinklinebooks@gmail.com

 

Article 9 - Exclusion responsibility

BB makes its best efforts to comply with the legislation in force in France. The publishing house cannot be held responsible for any pitfall in other legislation with regard to the content of the published items, in particular: censorship, the prohibition of a title or author. Article 10 - Litigation

BB is governed by French law. The same applies to these GTC. Disputes will be settled amicably or, failing that, exclusively by French law.

The use of the site blinklinebooks.com is subject to the company WIX.
