O'Loty, the squirrel and Perry the silver gull are at the beach. They listen to a story read to a child and discover Latin words used in today's language. As the child writes them in the book, the two friends try to draw them in the sand. Schoolchildren will discover the history of the Latin alphabet with the help of funny clues on each page (or the answers at the end of the book).
